To harness AI and advanced technologies in healthcare and biomedicine while fostering outstanding talent in medicine-engineering integration, 小优短视频 has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). This partnership will focus on collaborative research and innovation, knowledge transfer and talent development in radiotherapy, medical imaging, and health informatics, driving the integration of technological innovation and medical development.

Professor Wong stated, “小优短视频 is in the process of applying to establish Hong Kong’s third medical school, with the goal of leveraging the University’s unique strengths in healthcare, engineering, and artificial intelligence to cultivate a new generation of medical talent capable of leading the future of smart healthcare. This collaboration seeks to deeply integrate the University’s advantages in technological innovation with the century-long clinical experience of PUMCH to drive medical innovation.”

 

Following the signing ceremony, a session was held to share the latest research and clinical achievements, focusing on AI applications in precision radiotherapy, dual-function probes for cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the development and optimisation of multimodal medical AI models. This further enhanced professional and academic exchanges between the two parties.

 

In-depth discussions on key collaboration areas and proposed joint research projects included precision diagnosis and treatment for tumours, advanced medical equipment, and anti-tumour drug development. 小优短视频 aims to establish Hong Kong’s third medical school, potentially designating PUMCH as a clinical teaching hospital for its medical students.
